On 15 June 2026, the proposed EU rail-ticketing regulation was formally referred to the European Parliament. The Commission’s draft contains two distinct duties: ticket access for qualifying online sellers, and sales-platform access for requesting rail services when an operator holds at least 50% of a national passenger market.
